Your experience is considered relevant if:
- You’ve excelled in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level.
- You have a background as a self-employed person in cultural activities or athletics.
Being a self-employed person under this program requires at least two years of experience. These years should fall within the five years before your application until the day a decision is made. Having three, four, or five years of experience can earn you more points.
More To Consider
To finalize your application, both you and your family members must undergo a medical examination and obtain police certificates. You’ll also need to demonstrate financial capacity to support your family in Canada.
Disclosure of Funds:
Arriving in Canada with over CAN$10,000 requires you to declare it to the CBSA officer. Failure to do so can result in fines and fund seizure. These funds may be in the form of cash, securities, drafts, checks, travelers’ checks, or money orders.
